Reading is sexy, fun and intriguing!

I love to read…it is a true passion for me, just as much as writing. Living in another’s mind, experiencing their life can be thrilling. I remember reading a quote by George R.R. Martin:

And I believe in it fully.

We all have the types of books we like, for the different moods we are in. I know for me, my comfort books are Change of Heart by Mary Clames and Where He Ends and I Begin by Cardeno C.

With that in mind this Valentine’s week, and with the Love of Books Giveaway, I’d like to offer up a $10 Amazon GC and an ecopy of my newest release Cupid’s Time. To enter, just comment below and tell us what your comfort read is? The book that touches you and you just can’t help but go back for more. Make sure to leave your email so I can contact you. 😉

And don’t forget to check out the other hoppers in the LOVE OF BOOKS GIVEAWAY!

  1. Whenever I feel “out of it” or just sad, I read any book written by my favorite authors. Top two would be Julie Kagawa and Kasie West. Of course after re-reading them I’d want to read more and I’d end up not finishing any tasks. But at least my spirits are up and I get to snuggle and read so I have that going for me (lol).
Thank you so much and happy <3's! 🙂

  2. It truly depends in what mood I am in. Historical: Bertrice Small The Kadin or anything by Amanda Quick. Paranormal: Anything by Shelly Laurenston, Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changling series. MM currently your Hunter Clan series (write woman write I need more) and Rough Canvas by Joey W Hill.

  3. I have to say The BFG by Roald Dahl. It’s short and fun and always puts me in a good mood since it’s a childhood favorite. Thank you!

  5. My comfort reads are the Conquest series by SJ Frost, the Draegon Lord series by ML Rhodes or Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes. Thanks for the chance to win your book.

  6. I’ve got a few, but I’ll try to narrow it down. 😉 Tahn by L.A. Kelly is one of my top books, and the Marius books are also good for comfort reading. I like short and guaranteed happy endings when I’m in that kind of mood.

  7. I have a huge list of comfort reads. I think the ones that I really love and read every few months are:
A Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes
The One Who Saves Me by Cardeno C.
    Kirith Kirin by Jim Grimsley
Mystic & Rider by Sharon Shinn
